With some free time i was working on this Creature design, using lots of reference from  the Rhinoceros, Triceratops and the Ankylosaurus. I’m planning to build a High Poly/Low Poly mesh, and get the asset ready for animation in-game, portfolio thingie.

Anatomy and Lighting studies

Trying to keep in shape and to increase my anatomy skills, i’ve been sketching out some figures and poses with pencils, out of photographs or friends while i was without a computer, now that i got the new one, managed to get some spare time to work and color this poses to understand a little more about volumes and shades of the human body/skin.

Experimentos con luz roja

Decidí hacer éste post, para evitar depender de modelos que no desean que su imágen sea posteada en internet, en éste caso prefiero tomar esa responsabilidad con mi persona y bueno pretendo hacer una serie de trabajos al respecto, mientras tanto un experimento que fué con otros fines pero se tornó en ésto.

Google Phone Concept

Bueno curioseando en la red, me encontré con la noticia del nuevo Google Phone listo para salir en éste mes de Septiembre, algo innovador del nuevo sistema operativo que google ha desarrollado bajo el nombre de “Android” es la posibilidad de que los usuarios creen aplicaciones para su propio celular, siendo de ésta manera una iniciativa más a los proyectos open-source que se han ido generando gracias a proyectos como el “OpenMoko 2008 (Celular completamente Open Source”.

Ésta fiebre por la competencia que pueda generar hacía el nuevo iPhone de Apple y la iniciativa por parte de Google para convertir al usuario en generador de contenido me generó bastante curiosidad y en un intento, decidí diseñar mi propio G-Phone.

Me gustaría saber qué opinan…

Browsing around the net, I found that Android’s powered Google Phone it’s gonna be released this september, following this fever, I decided to make a concept for it, not around 2008 but for a not too far future, the main interaction is centered for the big thumb along the centerline of the phone, it sill use an OLED screen and a curved front surface.

When turning around, the accelerometer will detect the position and change the two red and green buttons to UP and DOWN, if positioned vertically, will be CALL-HANG or YES – NO.

I would like to hear your thoughts

De Vuelta en las andadas

Hola, pues ha sido bastante tiempo fuera de ésto, pero hay alguien que me motivó bastante para entrar de nuevo en ésto, aunque las actualizaciones serán mucho menos frecuentes, trataré de llevar un videoBlog de cosas interesantes que aparezcan por ahí.

Spencer tunick en México

Bueno, después de algún tiempo, finalmente los que participamos en la instalación de Spencer Tunick en el Zócalo de la Ciudad de méxico, podemos ver el fruto de nuestro desnudo.

En lo personal, deja mucho que desear tanto la exposición como el encuadre fotográfico, a pesar de hacer al toma con la luz del amanecer, me parece que Spencer no eligió la mejor para los que participamos en la fotografía. Probablemente en éste momento sería mejor pensar en la experiencia que nos brindó el ser parte de la instalación y no del registro fotográfico…
